High-Value Business Loans from €5 Million

Bespoke Corporate Finance for Businesses, Start-Ups and Major Projects

IntaCapital Swiss arranges high-value business loans from €5 million upwards for start-ups, SMEs, established companies, entrepreneurs, developers and project sponsors.

Our role is to structure substantial corporate funding around the commercial objectives of the borrower. Whether capital is required for expansion, acquisition, property development, infrastructure, refinancing, working capital or a new venture, we assess the requirement and identify an appropriate route to finance.

High-value borrowing is rarely straightforward. Large corporate loans often require more than a standard lending application, particularly where the transaction is international, the project is complex or the borrower does not own sufficient conventional assets.

IntaCapital Swiss specialises in bespoke corporate lending, alternative business finance and structured funding solutions for borrowers whose requirements may not fit traditional banking criteria.

Large Business Loans Tailored to Your Objectives

Every business has different funding needs. Some borrowers require growth capital to expand an existing operation. Others need project finance to begin construction, purchase assets, complete an acquisition or refinance existing debt.

We do not attempt to place every applicant into the same standard financial product. Instead, we consider the purpose of the loan, the strength of the business plan, the experience of the management team, the proposed repayment strategy and the overall commercial viability of the transaction.

Our high-value loan facilities may be suitable for:

  • Start-up funding from €5 million
  • SME business loans
  • Large corporate loans
  • Business expansion finance
  • Property development funding
  • Infrastructure project finance
  • Renewable energy and energy-sector funding
  • Acquisition finance
  • Management buyout funding
  • International trade finance
  • Equipment and asset finance
  • Corporate refinancing
  • Debt restructuring
  • Working capital for major contracts
  • Cross-border business funding
  • Special-purpose project finance

Facilities are structured on a case-by-case basis and remain subject to due diligence, lending approval, documentation and contract.

Alternative Business Funding Beyond Conventional Banks

Many commercially viable businesses are unable to obtain the level of funding they require from conventional banks.

This does not always mean the underlying proposal is weak. A start-up may have an experienced management team and a strong business model but limited trading history. An SME may have valuable contracts and significant growth potential but insufficient fixed assets. A major project may be commercially sound but require substantial capital before revenue can be generated.

Traditional lenders often focus heavily on historic accounts, existing security and rigid lending formulas. Where a funding requirement is unusually large or complex, a more flexible structure may be needed.

IntaCapital Swiss explores alternative lending and structured finance solutions designed around the specific circumstances of the applicant.

High-Value Loans Without Sufficient Existing Security

One of the most common barriers to securing a large business loan is insufficient collateral.

A business may require €10 million, €25 million, €50 million or more, but may not own enough property, machinery, investments or other acceptable assets to secure the required facility.

Where insufficient security is the main obstacle, Collateral Transfer may offer an alternative route to funding.

Collateral Transfer is a form of structured securities lending that allows suitable financial collateral to be introduced into the loan transaction. The borrower effectively rents or imports collateral from an approved third-party Collateral Provider for an agreed period.

This externally provided collateral may then be used to support a high-value corporate loan or credit facility.

Collateral Transfer Using ISIN-Listed Debt Securities

The collateral used within a Collateral Transfer facility may take the form of an ISIN-listed Debt Security.

An ISIN, or International Securities Identification Number, provides a unique identifier for a financial security. This allows the Debt Security to be recognised within international banking, custody and securities systems.

Under the agreed transaction structure, the Debt Security may be blocked, pledged, assigned or placed within an approved custody arrangement in favour of the lender, custodian or nominated financial institution.

The borrower does not normally purchase the Debt Security outright. Instead, the borrower receives the contractual right to use its value as loan security during the term of the facility.

This arrangement can be compared to renting collateral rather than owning it.

Importing Collateral to Support a Larger Loan

Introducing additional collateral into a transaction can significantly strengthen a lending proposal.

A business that owns only limited conventional assets may be unable to support the value of the loan it requires. By importing suitable financial collateral through a Collateral Transfer facility, the borrower may be able to present the lender with stronger security.

This can potentially increase the size of the credit facility available and create a viable route to funding where traditional lending would otherwise be unavailable.

The precise loan amount will depend on several factors, including:

  • The value and quality of the Debt Security
  • The lender’s loan-to-value policy
  • The borrower’s financial circumstances
  • The proposed use of funds
  • The repayment strategy
  • The transaction structure
  • The custodian and security arrangements
  • The results of due diligence and credit approval

Collateral Transfer does not remove the need for a credible business proposal or the ability to service the loan. It provides an additional form of security that may help satisfy the lender’s collateral requirements.

Who Can Apply for a High-Value Business Loan?

Applications may be considered from a broad range of commercial borrowers, including:

  • Established companies seeking expansion capital
  • SMEs requiring significant growth funding
  • Start-ups with credible business plans
  • Property developers
  • Infrastructure and energy projects
  • International trading businesses
  • Acquisition vehicles
  • Special-purpose companies
  • Entrepreneurs leading substantial commercial ventures
  • Project sponsors seeking long-term capital

Applicants should be able to provide a clear explanation of the funding requirement, how the money will be used and how the loan will be serviced and repaid.

Strong applications usually include a detailed business plan, financial projections, management information, ownership details and supporting evidence relating to the proposed transaction.

A Bespoke Approach to Corporate Lending

At IntaCapital Swiss, each funding request is reviewed individually.

We begin by understanding the borrower, the business, the project and the required loan amount. We then assess the proposed use of funds, available security, commercial risks and repayment strategy.

Where the proposal meets our initial criteria, we may explore conventional lending, collateral-backed lending, Collateral Transfer or another suitable capital structure.

Our team assists with the application process, due diligence, indicative terms, transaction structuring and coordination with lenders, collateral providers, custodians and professional advisers.

Our aim is to make complex high-value funding easier to understand and more manageable for the applicant.
